What is a Host Home?
A Host Home is a living arrangement where someone opens their home and their heart to a person with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD). Host Home Providers are mentors, teachers, and companions to another person living in their home! Essentially, you are adding another member to your family!
Host Home Providers receive room and board each month and are paid a daily rate for the person they support in their home.
You live life as you always have, just with an additional person in your home! You teach and support them to be independent. In turn, you get to work from home and make a real impact on the life of the person you support!
No experience is necessary! Just an empty bedroom and a desire to love people just as they are!
We provide all training and ongoing support!
